The city of Brockton, Massachusetts is located approximately 25 miles south of Boston. Brockton is the sixth largest city in the state with a population of 93,092 and has a total area of 21.6 square miles. Brockton is known as the “City of Champions” mainly because it was the birthplace of boxing champions Rocky Marciano and Marvin Hagler, but also because of the successful sports teams at Brockton High School.
