September 9, 2011 – Mark McMullen, 44, from Boston, Massachusetts, was fatally shot by police officers after leading them on a 20 mile high speed chase. The pursuit began in Roxbury after police witnessed McMullen’s car strike a woman, who turned out to suffer only minor injuries.
